HAPPY 4th of JULY everyone!!!!
So I forgot to mention something super awesome yesterday!!! The salvation count in Guatemala for just YESTERDAY was 235!! woweeee. praise God!!! It was amazing to hear about people getting healed not just spiritually, but physically during testimony time!
So today, we have a day of rest! So today I will be attending 2 seminars and I haven't decided which yet because I want to attend most of them! Instead of having FUAGNEM at night time, we just had it this morning. Susie delivered a part 2 on her "identity in Christ" sermon. Susie is HILARIOUS! haha. Anyways, the sermon was about surrendering to God and knowing that we ARE a new creation in Him. We are daughters and sons of a mighty King and so we should start to live like it. We need to let God define who we are. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!-2 Corinthians 5:17. After that, we prayed individually for either to surrender pur lives to God if we haven't yet, or to just simply KNOW that we are His new creations and to have confidence that God loves us and that we are disciples whom he LOVES! God's love for us is AMAZING. After we prayed individually, we would go up to pur leaders and they would pray for us! For some reason, I felt God telling me to go to Jill to pray for me. So I did and she said very encouraging things that I really needed to hear! After the prayer, she put a necklace around my neck (designed by Susie for this trip). The front side says "new creation" in Greek and the back is a reference to 2 Corinthians 5:17.
I have soooo much to blog about but sooo little time haha. God has been teaching me SOOO much these past couple of days! Thank you for keeping me in your prayers!
Alright, PB&J time (aka lunch)!
Talk to y'all soon!
Love,
Michelle
Michelle darling,
ReplyDeleteI'm overwhelmed with joy and tears in my eyes when reading your blog, especially on salvation numbers. It's really "It's Amazing What God Can Do" as the title of the song we sing in Choir ministry group. Well, babe, keep staying in Christ, the vine, and He in you,the branch, you will bear much fruit. (John 15:5)
By the way, please don't stay up late as you need lots of rest for the rest of your trip!
Also, please send my regards to your roomies and leaders,
Hugs and kisses from mom, dad,Thomas and Vincent
